Jonhathan Dickinson State Park,Jupiter Florida 09/04/2011

Tring to keep this Big Boy out of the mangroves was exciting!
I grew up fishing these waters with my father. We used to put in at the Burt Reynolds boat ramp.In those days it was free to launch and Jupiter was alot less crowed than Palm Beach.Alot has changed over the years but the fishing is still alot of fun. I camped at Johnathan Dickinson State park and fished the back waters and about half way out to the intracoastal I will be offering charters there next summer for Snook and Tarpon.I would have done it this summer but was not sure on launch sites for kayaking. There are some great launch sites .If you are interested in booking a CHARTER for this trip give me some notice. To scout it and help you make plans to be in Jupiter,Fl.  http://www.actionkayakadventures.com/

Ponte Vedra Lake Kayak fishing

The weather was really hot for the beginning of the day but by the time we started the charter the temp. was dropping. It seemed like the fish had lockjaw. We were seeing lots of fish with no bites.Tried every trick in the book.Like alot of times they were not hungery.Luckily the fishing picked up at dusk and my clients were able to close the deal on a few nice slot sized Redfish.Come get a line wet with  http://www.actionkayakadventures.com/

Things to do St. Augustine Florida 7/22/2011

This week I had two moms and three kids come out for a kayak fishing charter.I have to say I was very impressed with the ladies for choosing Kayak fishing to spend time with the kids. AS soon as they got to the launch the fun started. The kids were checking out all the cool stuff that nature has to offer. Not long after we left the launch a osprey came down and picked out a mullet just yards from the kayaks The fishing was a bit slow but some shorties helped us out.Three Reds one Trout and a bunch of Lady Fish  ( poor mans tarpon).Kayak fishing is alot of fun for the family get out and give it a try,
   Fishing Report:
